Incredible talent (Vanessa Williams, Audra McDonald, Billy Porter, Brian Stokes Mitchell etc.) from the Broadway Theatre community came together to form the nonprofit organization, Black Theatre United. " Stand For Change" is their anthemic song, with messaging representing their ethos. They are aiming to follow in the footsteps of the legendary trailblazers using their voices and activism as a platform to promote awareness and opportunity in the Black community. Through advocacy and partnerships, BTU is creating powerful messaging and initiatives that aim to discuss and activate diversity, equity, and inclusion inside the theatres and throughout all aspects of our society.
